Create Leaders & Not Managers

It is a transition to go through from Managers to Leaders. Leadership is a philosophy, attitude & a way of life.
When we enter into the corporate arena after our studies, we are trained to do our job. Ex: How to use the software, how to sell, how to give presentation or handle a presentation. When we start implementing those inputs, we are considered for promotion to accountants, managers, engineers. When we really perform well in our promoted position, we become responsible for the people who do those jobs which we were doing.
Few companies teach people what leading is. Like putting someone at a machine & demanding the results without showing how machine works. We get managers not leaders because people know how to do a job & not how to lead people who are rolls.
When we are leaders, we trust others to a position of leadership who are responsible for the people who do the job. There is no CEO on this planet who is responsible for the customer. CEOs are responsible for the people who are responsible for the customer. Get that right.
Leadership is hard. It is trusting people, training people, coaching people, believing in people that they will do their work right.
When we tell people to do their jobs, we get workers. When we trust & believe people to get the job done, we get leaders.
